Englander Knabe & Allen (EKA) announced today that Jeffrey McConnell, previously a Senior Vice President with EKA, has become an equity partner in the company. The other equity partners are Harvey Englander, Matt Knabe, Marcus Allen and Eric Rose.
McConnell is a veteran lobbyist with strong contacts in Los Angeles City Hall and the Los Angeles County Hall of Administration. His advocacy accomplishments include securing contracts for his clients, protecting business from over-regulation and most recently assisting BNSF Railway in the approval of the $500 million, Southern California International Gateway project.

Prior to joining EKA, McConnell was Vice President of Arnie Berghoff & Associates, where he managed the day-to-day responsibilities of the firm for a large list of Fortune 500 companies. Prior to that, he was Legislative Deputy to Los Angeles City Councilman Nick Pacheco, where he was responsible for Downtown redevelopment, information technology, transportation, public works and the City’s budget. He currently serves on the Executive Board as Treasurer of the Valley Industry & Commerce Association, and is a former Co-Chair of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Transportation and Goods Movement Committee. A resident of La Canada with his wife and two daughters, McConnell is a graduate of Vanderbilt University where he received a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and Theater.
